The Creed of Lambda Chi Alpha

We believe in Lambda Chi Alpha, and its traditions, principles, and ideals. The crescent is our symbol--pure, high, and ever growing; and the cross is our guide--denoting service, sacrifice, and even suffering and humiliation before the world, bravely endured if need be, in following that ideal.

May we have faith in Lambda Chi Alpha and passion for its welfare. May we have hope for the future of Lambda Chi Alpha and strength to fight for its teachings. May we have pure hearts, that we may approach the ideal of perfect brotherly love.

Why Lambda Chi Alpha?

Lambda Chi Alpha offers the rare opportunity to grow and develop as a man while contributing their skills, passions, and personalities, to a special group of students.  At Lambda-Chi Zeta, we have a strict no hazing policy as we believe that “every man is a man.”  We strive for excellence in academics (3.0 cumulative GPA), philanthropies (both locally and nationally), and athletics (two-time defending Intramural Champions).  The Lambda-Chi Zeta Chapter House was remodeled in the Summer of 2010 and houses 21 men with over 9,000 square feet of space.  Our Chapter is extremely diverse and encourages life-long friendships and memories.  Lambda-Chi Zeta has over 635 alumni who provide undergraduates many business connections and opportunities.  Over 80% of all Fortune 500 CEOs are fraternity and Lambda Chi Alpha has the most representation in that select group as well as a former US President (Harry Truman, Missouri).

Fraternity Means Family

A fraternity is essentially a family comprised of college students.  Lambda Chi Alpha provides young men life-long experiences, friends, and memories.  When you need someone to talk to, there is always a brother who genuinely cares about you.  Just like family, we understand you’re human and seeking to find and improve yourself.  We understand that college can be a difficult time, especially in the beginning, and Lambda Chi Alpha offers the nearest thing to a home students can find on campus.

If you are interested in joining or learning more about Lambda Chi Alpha, feel free to visit the Chapter House.  For any questions or concerns, please contact our Recruitment Coordinator, Cody Youngblood, or Fraternal Educator, Patrick Lewis.
